Where to go on Opening Night

We want your opening night check-in experience to go smoothly and as quickly as possible.

opening-night-2016Please download our Opening Night Guide. It lets you know where to bring your children, where to register, and where to order books, uniforms, etc.

The first night’s check-in will go fastest if you:

  1. Pre-Register your children.
  2. Pre-Order books, uniforms, etc.

On subsequent Awana nights, bring your children to their assigned classrooms. If you need to order supplies or have any questions, please go to our Admin Room, room 123. It’s open all year round.

As always, please Contact Us if you have any questions.  It’s always nice to hear from you.

About Our Dues

A brief note about Awana’s optional dues.  Did you know they help…

Families at MABC.
Our sister clubs around the globe.
Pay for end of year awards.

Families can choose to pay dues once a month or annually.  The monthly amount is $5.00, paid the first night of the month. The annual amount varies by number of children in a family.

Annual dues for one child: $40.00
For 2: $70.00
For 3: $95.00
For 4 or more: $130.00

At no time should dues be a financial burden to any family. If you learn of a family who needs help with dues, let us know.

But the flip-side of the equation is also important. We can’t let our ministry be a financial burden to our church family.  That’s why the dues amounts have been raised oh-so-slightly.

Please watch a one-minute video about Awana and how your offerings help at home and abroad.

We greatly appreciate your generosity.  We know everybody’s stretched financially these days.  Every nickle you give is helpful.

When we listen to the witness of Scripture, particularly on the topic of conversion, we find that there is very little wiggle room. Listen to these words: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Cor. 5:17)

The AWANA Calendar at MABC

Google CalendarPut the power of Google Calendar to work for you and your family.

If your busy family has discovered the power of this free tool, you no doubt love it.  If you haven’t, we really encourage you to look into it.

Here’s how it works in a nutshell: your family creates their own Google Calendar.  Husband and wife access it from their PCs and smart phones.  It’s a great way to keep in sync as a family and know what everybody’s doing.

Now here’s the neat thing about Google Calendars.  You can integrate other calendars – like MABC’s AWANA Calendar – right into your own!  And you can color code various calendars to distinguish AWANA events from your family’s.  My family’s events are blue, AWANA events are red.

You can’t modify AWANA events, you can only see them in your own calendar.  But, if the leaders of AWANA update dates/times in the AWANA calendar, those events are immediately updated in your copy.

To integrate the AWANA Calendar into your own, the AWANA Commander will need to “share” it with you.  All we need is your email address.  When it’s been shared with you, you’ll know it because you’ll receive an email.

Use the Contact Us link to send your email address to us.  We look forward to hearing from you.
